
The Ufinity Rewards Card
The Ufinity Rewards Card is the centerpiece of our entire Ufinity coalition marketing program. It is a coalition card that is usable at all member restaurants. Let’s look at its many features:
- The Ufinity Card Earns points at all member restaurants. Customers earn 1 point for each dollar spent. When they reach 100 points, they will receive an email stating they have received a level one reward. What the reward is is up to you; a free premium drink, an appetizer, $5 off their entree, you get to decide. Be creative, and tailor to your business and clientele. What ever your promotion, we will include it on our website allowing for up to 4 changes per year. (also see note below on our Unique Points Pooling Program)
- Customers can earn points at one restaurant and redeem them at another. By using this kind of promotion, customers will be encouraged to try new places, or go to that place they have not been to for awhile and get a discount for doing so. They may just as well redeem them at the restaurant they eat at regularly. Whatever their choice, the consumers and the restaurants win.
- By using one card, we eliminate the excuse for not joining a program because "we don't eat here very often". When they realize that it is good at 50 locations around the city, they now have a reason to be included in the program and database, "your database".
- By using one card at all member locations, Ufinity has the ability to market all member restaurants at the same time. Ufinity can sell gift cards, run fundraising programs, corporate sales programs, radio advertising promotions, do community events, fairs, expos, etc; all on the behalf and for the benefit of all our members.
- By using one card, we can purchase tens of thousands at a time, reducing the cost of the program for our members.
- By using one card, under one generic name, Ufinity will be able to create excitement and synergy around the coalition and in return, send more paying customers to all our members, the local independent restaurants.
- By running a coalition program vs. individual loyalty programs, we can reduce the entire operating expenses of running the program.
- By using one card we can, in effect, market and promote like a “chain” of unique independent restaurants, pooling our efforts to fight back against the Chain Restaurants that so dominate the restaurant landscape. We will gain the exposure and purchasing clout that no individual restaurant could ever obtain on its own.
Plus… you can market Ufinity gift cards received as the “gift card that keeps on giving”. When someone purchases a Ufinity Gift Card or receives an Ufinity gift card as a gift from someone, they will be informed where they can be redeemed and encouraged to join the rewards program when they get there. It can be assumed, at least initially, that they are not Ufinity Reward members yet, and if they are, they will give you their card. Being "pre-sold" on the program, they can more easily be signed up for an Ufinity Rewards Card at your restaurant. Then, they can earn points and rewards long after the gift card is gone. They then become Ufinity Rewards members in your database to be marketed to, on your behalf, indefinitely.

Our Unique Points Pooling System:
Using our unique points pooling system, Ufinity internally tracks every point issued and redeemed at each of their Member restaurants. A rebalancing credit will occur in the event a member has a negative balance, meaning they have redeemed more points than they have issued. Rebalancing credits will take place 2 times per year, in January and July for the prior 6 month period. Rebalancing is paid at the basic reward rate of $5 per 100 points. This eliminates any concern about one restaurant having to redeem points that they did not issue. If you redeem too many, we will pay you, period.
